Gold Prices Plummet in Local Market Amid International Decline
The prices of gold in Pakistan's local market have dropped, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs4,300 to settle at Rs436,336. This decline is also reflected in the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which decreased by Rs3,687 to Rs374,087.
The prices of other precious metals also saw a decrease. The price of 22-karat gold declined by Rs3,380 to Rs342,925, and the price of silver per tola dropped by Rs56 to Rs6,522. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs48 to Rs5,591.
In the international market, the price of gold also experienced a decline, falling by $43 to $4,138 per ounce. The price of silver in the international market declined by $0.56 to $60.44 per ounce.
