Gold Prices Tick Up in Baghdad and Erbil Markets

On Wednesday, gold prices saw an increase in Baghdad and Erbil markets. According to a Shafaq News survey, the price of gold hovered around 960,000 IQD per mithqal. On Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street, 21-carat gold was sold for 958,000 IQD per five grams, while the buying price reached 954,000 IQD. This represents a slight increase from Tuesday's prices.

The selling and buying prices for 21-carat Iraqi gold were recorded at 928,000 IQD and 924,000 IQD respectively. In jewelry stores, the price range of 21-carat Gulf gold varied between 960,000 and 970,000 IQD per mithqal. Meanwhile, in Erbil, 22-carat gold was sold for 998,000 IQD per mithqal.
