The Houthi-led Ansar Allah announced that eight Saudi oil tankers have been forced to change course towards the Cape of Good Hope. According to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, this is part of a 'blockade for blockade' equation, where the naval forces are tightening their grip on Saudi vessels.

The Houthis stated that they will continue to block the operation against Saudi Arabia and their vessels. This move comes as a response to the ongoing naval blockade imposed by the Houthis on Saudi oil tankers.
