IBC Advanced Alloys Bets Big on Copper Super Cycle
IBC Advanced Alloys (IB) presented its growth plan to investors at the Lytham Partners Fall 2026 Investor Conference, focusing on copper demand, defense contracts, and domestic production. The company's Chairman and CEO, Mark Smith, stated that IBC is uniquely positioned in the market as a vertically integrated producer of casting, forging, heat treatment, and machining services for defense contractors and electronics makers.
The company reported current revenues 50% to 60% above first- and second-quarter 2026 levels, with a $13.81 million market capitalization and revenue of $18.59 million over the last twelve months as of Q3 2026. Despite near-term headwinds, the stock has delivered an 88.89% return over the past year.
Smith emphasized that IBC's business mix gives it exposure to customers with strong credit profiles and allows it to play a role earlier in the buying process. The company is working on a four-stage growth plan: expanding near net shape copper alloy cast products, installing a Vacuum Cap Furnace for copper nickel alloys, building aluminum scandium alloy production, and installing a radial forge.
