Indonesia Confirms Secure Oil Supplies Including Russian Imports
Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia has assured that the country's crude oil supply is secure, including imports from Russia.
The assurance comes as Indonesia continues to meet its national energy needs amidst global developments. Domestic production remains below target, with September 8 records showing 571,731 barrels per day compared to a 2026 target of 610,000 barrels per day.
Bahlil confirmed that the government-to-government (G-to-G) cooperation arrangement with Russia extends to the government-to-business (G-to-B) level. However, he declined to provide further details on the volume and timing of Russian crude oil imports for the second phase.
