Iran Offers Strait of Hormuz Reopening Amid Crude Price Drop
Crude oil prices have dropped significantly on September 25 after Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi offered to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days and restart nuclear talks.
This proposal comes nearly seven months after the US and Israel launched their war against Iran, with previous efforts at reaching a lasting peace failing.
The conditions for reopening the waterway are tied to conditions already outlined in the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which was signed by the US President but later collapsed in July.
