MAG Silver Stock Surges on Strong Q2 Update and Rising Silver Prices
MAG Silver Corp.'s stock is up after the company released its Q2 2026 update, which showed revenue growth and strong silver prices.
The company generated approximately USD 71.4 million in total revenue for Q2 2026, a 15.2% increase from the same quarter last year. Net income also rose to about USD 24.6 million compared to USD 19.3 million in Q2 2025.
The silver price has also been on the rise, reaching USD 66.76 per troy ounce as of September 18, 2026, up 5.42% from the previous close. This move above the USD 62 to USD 66 range could support MAG Silver's valuation and outlook.
Analysts have noted that silver prices around USD 65.80 per ounce reflect a second consecutive day of gains, driven by easing US Treasury yields. However, there are still risks associated with cost inflation in energy and labor, as well as potential delays in project development capital spending.
