Oil Prices Dip as Asian Shares Rise Amid AI Boom
Oil prices dipped Thursday after recent gains, with Brent crude trading near $95 per barrel.
The renewed fighting between the U.S. and Iran had previously pushed oil prices sharply higher earlier in the week, but U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday he doesn't expect the U.S. bombing campaign to last 'much longer'.
Despite this dip in oil prices, Asian shares advanced, tracking gains on Wall Street.
The Nikkei 225 in Tokyo rose 0.2%, while the Kospi in South Korea gained 1.4%.
