Oil Prices Plummet Amid Intensifying Selling Pressure

Oil prices plummeted to their lowest levels in over a week, as selling pressure mounted. In Singapore on September 21st, 2026, Brent crude dipped to $101.71 per barrel, down $2.16, or 2.08 percent from the previous day's close.

This decline follows a 0.91 percent decrease in Brent crude on Friday. US West Texas Intermediate crude also felt the pinch, falling by $2.15, or 2.14 percent, to reach $98.15 per barrel.
