Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, following an upward trend in the international market. The price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,200, reaching Rs437,536, while the price per 10 grams rose by Rs1,029 to Rs375,116. This rise mirrors the global movement, where gold prices climbed by $12 to $4,150 per ounce.

Silver also saw a significant increase, hitting a new all-time high in Pakistan. The price per tola of silver rose by Rs66, reaching Rs6,588. This surge in silver prices underscores the growing strength in the precious metals market.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported these changes, highlighting how local bullion rates are closely tracking global trends. The firm international precious metals market is driving these increases, as central banks continue to treat gold as a strategic reserve asset despite the appeal of interest-bearing alternatives.
