The federal government of Pakistan has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) under its petroleum pricing mechanism. As per the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), petrol will now cost Rs392.76 per litre, up from Rs390.66, while HSD will increase to Rs399.64 per litre from Rs399.34.

The price revision is effective from October 3 to October 5, 2026. The move reflects changes in international market movements, including Platts rates, premiums, and incidentals.

According to the Petroleum Division, the previous revision had increased petrol by Rs3.26 per litre to Rs390.66 while reducing HSD by Rs1.01 to Rs399.34 per litre. The latest increase comes as international oil prices fell sharply following reports of talks in Europe over additional diesel and crude stock releases.
