Sempra Inc.'s stock price closed at $81.31 on September 18, 2026, after a 1.06 percent decline from the previous session's close of $82.18.

The company's infrastructure subsidiary recently signed a 20-year sales and purchase agreement with Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. Petrobras, making Petrobras the first South American LNG customer for Sempra's subsidiary.

This deal adds contracted LNG volume of approximately 0.8 million tonnes per year over two decades to Sempra's portfolio, reducing commercial risk by locking in long-term demand from a major regional utility and oil company.
