Silver Prices Plummet in Davanagere: August Sees Biggest Decline Yet

The trend of silver prices in Davanagere for August 2026 shows a significant decline. According to Business Today, the price dropped from ₹2,46,900 on August 1st to ₹2,28,900 by August 5th.

This downward movement continues a pattern of falling prices seen throughout the year in Davanagere. In July, silver prices opened at ₹2,59,100 and closed at ₹2,39,900. June saw even lower prices, with an opening price of ₹2,93,900 and closing at ₹2,44,900.

In contrast, May experienced a rise in prices, from ₹2,69,000 on the first day to ₹2,94,000 by the end of the month. However, these increases did not sustain into June or July.
