Silver Prices Steady at $66.78 Amid Ongoing Geopolitical Tensions
Silver prices have steadied at $66.78 an ounce after a cautious recovery on Friday, marking a 1.6% daily gain that brought the metal above its 50-day moving average of $64.34.
The advance caps a period of consolidation following a year of volatile swings, with prices beginning in late January at a record high above $121 an ounce before a sharp correction.
Despite this recovery, the longer-term picture remains uncertain, with the 200-day moving average sitting at $72.61, well above current settlement prices and explaining much of the hesitation among market participants.
