Sudan Seeks to Revive Oil Production Amid Increased Efforts

Sudan's Energy Minister Engineer Al-Mu'tasim Ibrahim Ahmed inspected the headquarters of Sudapet in Khartoum, reviewing operations and plans for the coming period.

The minister emphasized that restoring oil production is a top priority, requiring increased efforts to develop petroleum activities and strengthen partnerships with local and international companies.

He noted that Sudan's ability to negotiate and attract investment depends on accurate and organized technical and investment information and data.

Atef Abdullah, Sudapet General Manager, briefed the minister on the company's activities, current situation, and operational plans, including those of its subsidiaries.
