CPC Corp, Taiwan (台灣中油) announced that it will keep its domestic gasoline and diesel prices unchanged this week despite international crude oil prices remaining high. The company's decision is part of the government's efforts to ease inflationary pressure.

Formosa Petrochemical Corp’s (台塑石化) website also indicates that it will maintain fuel prices at the same levels, marking the third consecutive week of steady domestic fuel prices.

The international crude oil price, which CPC uses as a benchmark, fell from $115.33 per barrel last week to $112.54 this week. However, a weaker New Taiwan dollar slightly raised purchasing costs for CPC.

Retail gasoline prices will remain at NT$31.2, NT$32.7, and NT$34.7 per liter for 92, 95, and 98-octane unleaded gasoline, respectively, at CPC and Formosa stations. Premium diesel prices will stay at NT$29.9 per liter at CPC stations and NT$29.7 per liter at Formosa pumps.
