Ukraine Extends Gas Price Freeze Until March 2027

The Ukrainian government has extended special obligations on the natural gas market until March 31, 2027. This decision will prevent an increase in gas prices for households throughout the autumn-winter period.

Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi announced that the current terms for selling gas to gas distribution system operators and preferential conditions for heat-supply companies will be preserved.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine believes that this extension will ensure a reliable supply of natural gas, safety, and stability in the operation of thermal facilities and the energy system as a whole.
