USDA Reports Basis Values for Conventional Canola Bulk Segment
The USDA Agricultural Marketing Service released its National Daily Sunflower, Canola, Millet and Flaxseed Report for October 2, 2026. The report presents current-delivery price and basis values unless otherwise noted.
Futures settlements were listed across several exchanges. CBOT corn settled at 497.75 cents per bushel for December 2026, while soybeans settled at 1278.25 cents per bushel for November 2026.
In the conventional canola bulk segment, bids were reported at Hallock, Minnesota; Enderlin, North Dakota; and Velva, North Dakota. Basis values at Hallock were 24.15, 24.94, 25.05, 25.80, 26.04 and 26.04 dollars per hundredweight.
Enderlin basis values were 25.48, 25.74, 26.20, 26.17, 26.46 and 26.53, while Velva's basis was 24.52. The delivery designation for the Velva quote was delivered by truck.
