USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins has announced a four-part plan to boost exports of U.S. produced biofuels, including ethanol.

The plan aims to support farmers of corn and soybeans, help agricultural sustainability, and create jobs in rural America.

The American Biofuels Trade Outlook includes four pillars: boosting on-road ethanol blending, lessening other nations' limits on importing crop-based biofuels from the U.S., opening untapped markets through USDA programs, and engaging international organizations to achieve fair treatment for U.S. biofuels.

According to Industrial Info Resources, the U.S. accounted for more than half of the world's ethanol production in 2024, with Brazil second.
