Uzbekneftegaz, Ximile Advance Joint Oil and Gas Projects in Uzbekistan

Uzbekneftegaz and Ximile, a Chinese company, have discussed the implementation of joint projects in Uzbekistan's oil and gas sector. The meeting focused on the supply of compressor equipment for production facilities at Mubarak and Gazli fields.

Under a contract signed in April 2026, Ximile is to deliver 35 sets of reciprocating compressor units for 12 wellhead compressor stations. As of September 30, 23 compressors have been manufactured, with 17 passing testing and 14 shipped to the customer.

The first compressor unit has been delivered to the construction site of the Zevarda field, which Uzbekneftegaz emphasized is crucial for maintaining stable natural gas production volumes. The parties agreed to accelerate equipment manufacturing and deliveries to ensure projects remain on schedule.

The meeting also covered plans to establish a Ximile representative office and service center in Uzbekistan, aimed at supporting technical maintenance, spare parts supply, and knowledge sharing among specialists.
