Gold prices in Vietnam increased during the week's trading session, with SJC gold bars selling for 141-144 million VND per tael (buying-selling), and DOJI listed SJC gold price at the threshold of 141-144 million VND/tael.

The buying-selling difference remained high at 3 million VND/tael. Compared to last week's closing session, prices increased by 4 million VND/tael on the buying side and 3 million VND/tael on the selling side for SJC gold bars at Saigon SJC Jewelry Company.

DOJI listed SJC gold price also saw a similar increase. Meanwhile, Phu Quy Jewelry Group saw an increase of 4 million VND/tael in buying prices and 3 million VND/tael in selling prices.

If buyers purchased SJC gold bars last week (August 2) and sold them this week (August 9), they would break even. However, DOJI buyers would make a profit of 200,000 VND per tael for gold rings.
