Wheat Futures Decline Amid Ongoing Shipping Disruptions
Wheat futures declined on Monday as traders took profits after last week's rally.
The December soft red winter wheat futures fell by a quarter of a cent to $6.89-1/4 per bushel, according to the Chicago Board of Trade.
The market continues to be affected by disruptions caused by Russia and Ukraine's attacks on Black Sea shipping routes.
Loadings at Russia's main grain export hub, Novorossiysk, have been reduced due to weeks of attacks.
Russia's Black Sea ports are still experiencing reduced loadings, while Ukraine has shifted its shipments to neighboring countries such as Romania.
