Wheat Prices Surge Toward $7.30 Amid US-China Trade Optimism
A recent rebound in wheat prices has brought them closer to $7.30 per bushel, after falling to a three-week low on September 18.
The recovery is largely due to optimism sparked by fresh trade engagement between the United States and China, ahead of a planned meeting between President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Around the weekend, officials from both nations met, with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent describing the discussions as 'very successful', while Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said they took place in a good atmosphere.
