The Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted a Saudi oil tanker called 'Wafa' in the northern Red Sea, off the coast of Yanbu. The strike was carried out using ballistic missiles and is part of the ongoing maritime blockade imposed on Saudi Arabia by the Yemeni forces.

This attack brings the total number of Saudi oil tankers targeted since July 22nd to eight. Additionally, a total of 29 Saudi oil tankers have been prevented from proceeding or forced to turn back in the Red and Arabian Seas due to the blockade.

The Yemeni Armed Forces are continuing their operations to tighten the naval blockade on Saudi Arabia, with the goal of establishing a 'blockade-for-blockade' equation. This means that they will target any oil tanker attempting to pass through the area, regardless of the consequences.
