Zinc Prices Drop Amid Renewed Middle East Tensions

Zinc prices dropped by 0.65% to settle at ₹413.75 due to renewed Middle East hostilities pushing oil prices higher and reviving inflation concerns.

This development increased expectations of tighter monetary policy, putting pressure on industrial metals like zinc.

However, despite the decline, zinc still found fundamental support from tightening supply conditions, with prices recording their strongest monthly performance since January in August.
