$351 Million Crypto Heist Rocks Exchange Bitget Amid North Korean Hacking Suspicions

Crypto exchange Bitget has been hit by a massive hack, resulting in the theft of $351.6 million.

The incident occurred on the evening of September 24, when Bitget's systems detected unauthorized transfers.

The company's CEO Gracy Chen stated that several IP addresses linked to the thefts were identified and are connected to North Korea.

Despite the severity of the hack, Bitget's insurance fund, which holds over $464 million, will cover the losses.
