Aero Lite Dominates Arc DEX Fees in Just Two Weeks
Aero Lite has made a significant impact on the Arc blockchain in just two weeks since its launch. The lightweight protocol, developed by Dromos Labs, has earned more in trading fees than all other decentralized exchanges (DEXs) combined on the chain. Despite holding only about 20% of the network's total value locked (TVL), Aero Lite processed around $25 million in DEX volume and has a cumulative fee of approximately $10,177.
The protocol's success can be attributed to its use of concentrated-liquidity pools, which allow providers to park their funds in a narrow price band where trading actually occurs. This approach enables the same dollar to do more work and earn higher fees as long as the price stays within the range.
Aero Lite's performance is noteworthy considering Arc's focus on stablecoin-native applications, payments, foreign exchange, and institutional transactions. The chain's users pay gas fees in USDC, a stablecoin, rather than a volatile native token.
The full Aero protocol, which merges Aerodrome and Velodrome under the AERO token, is scheduled to launch across seven EVM chains, including Arc, on October 21, 2026. This transition may impact fee distribution, as some revenue currently going to liquidity providers may be routed toward locked token holders instead.
