Aerodrome Axes Autopilot Ahead of Unified Aero Launch

Aerodrome's Autopilot, an automated liquidity management service powered by Mellow ALM, is shutting down its public operations. Liquidity providers with deposits in Autopilot have until April 25, 2026 to withdraw their funds through the Autopilot interface.

The shutdown is deliberate, as Aerodrome prepares for the launch of Aero on October 21, 2026. Aero will unify Aerodrome and Velodrome under a single AERO token and include its own built-in automation suite, making third-party autopilots like Autopilot redundant.

Autopilot has managed approximately 50 million veAERO per epoch and facilitated over $2.5 million in rewards distribution before the wind-down announcement. Users with positions held through veNFTs will not lose control of their assets during the transition.
