Banks on Blockchain Validate Next-Gen Payment Platforms
Banks are testing blockchain infrastructure to move traditional money more quickly and securely. They're experimenting with tokenised deposits, regulated stablecoins, and shared ledgers to support faster settlement and around-the-clock transfers.
One of the key players in this shift is Remittix, which aims to connect cryptocurrency with ordinary bank settlement through its PayFi system. This would allow users to easily turn their crypto holdings into cash deposited directly into a local bank account.
The platform extends beyond sending funds, offering perpetual trading across hundreds of digital assets and advertised yields of up to 22% APY on qualifying holdings. The Remittix wallet is already available on Apple's App Store, with a Google Play release planned.
