Binance Users Can Now Pay for VPN Services with Ease
For users of Binance, paying for a Virtual Private Network (VPN) has become easier than ever. There are two main ways to do this: through Binance Pay or by withdrawing crypto directly to the provider's address.
Binance Pay is a checkout option that allows users to settle payments from their exchange balance without needing to withdraw funds first. However, this method only works with providers who have integrated it, and the payment settles inside Binance, rather than on a chain controlled by the user.
The more widely available method is withdrawing crypto directly to the provider's address. This can be done through TRC20, which incurs a flat fee of $1 in USDT, regardless of the amount sent. Transfers usually confirm within a few minutes, and this route keeps the payment off Binance's books once it leaves.
When paying for a VPN using USDT, it is essential to ensure that the address prefix matches the network chosen. Sending TRC20 funds to an Ethereum address, for example, can result in the recipient being unable to access the funds without controlling the private key for that chain.
