Bitcoin Cycle to See Three-to-Five-Times Gain, Ki Young Ju Predicts
Ki Young Ju, a prominent figure in the crypto space, believes that Bitcoin is in the early stages of a new bull market. He expects this cycle to see a three-to-five-times gain, which is significantly lower than the over 10 times gain seen in earlier cycles. Ju points to on-chain activity as a more accurate gauge of market overheating than price alone.
According to Ju, exchange-traded funds and traditional financial channels have become major sources of liquidity in the market. Additionally, he notes a halt in long-term holder selling and continued inflows of new capital. This has led him to believe that the market is expanding and institutional participation is growing, resulting in lower volatility.
Ju also discussed the four-year cycle theory, which has been a topic of debate. He stated that it remains a useful reference, as it takes into account miner production costs and the halving mechanism, which slows the rate at which new Bitcoin enters circulation.
