Bitcoin ETFs Lose $90M as BTC Trades 32% Below Year-Old Peak
US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant outflow of $89.9 million on Monday, marking a reversal after two consecutive days of inflows. This shift coincided with Bitcoin's price drop below $86,000, placing it roughly 32% below its all-time high of $126,080 recorded on October 6, 2025. The total trading volume for these ETFs reached $2.18 billion over the previous two trading sessions, according to data from SoSoValue.
Since Bitcoin's peak in 2025, cumulative net inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs have decreased by 5.8%, from approximately $61.3 billion to $57.7 billion as of Monday. This decline highlights the volatility and shifting investor sentiment in the cryptocurrency market.
US spot Ether (ETH) ETFs also saw net outflows of around $51 million on Monday, extending their losing streak to five straight trading days. The funds have lost a combined $206 million during this period, with cumulative net inflows now standing at $13.8 billion. Other altcoin ETFs showed mixed results, with Solana (SOL) and Zcash (ZEC) funds recording net outflows of $9.3 million and $3.6 million, respectively. Meanwhile, XRP ETFs saw no net flows after posting $3.3 million in outflows on Friday.
