US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) faced significant outflows on Thursday, totaling $635 million. This sharp reversal erased the previous day's $528 million in inflows, pushing October's net flows back into negative territory at $175 million, according to data from SoSoValue. The outflows marked the largest single-day net withdrawal since June 25, when Bitcoin ETFs lost $696 million.
Despite the setback, Bitcoin ETFs maintained a weekly net inflow of $443 million. This followed two consecutive weeks of outflows before the recent rebound. Bitcoin's price fluctuated between $80,996 and $82,551 on Thursday, down from Wednesday's high of $84,777. At the time of publication, BTC was trading at approximately $81,783, reflecting a roughly 1% decline over the past 24 hours.
Altcoin ETFs also experienced mostly negative flows. Ether ETFs saw around $111 million in net outflows, while Solana ETFs and Hyperliquid (HYPE) ETFs recorded roughly $9 million and $8 million in outflows, respectively. XRP ETFs were the exception, attracting around $3.6 million in inflows.
