Bitcoin Price Could Hit 100k by Next Year Amid Fiscal Pressures and Volatility Decline
Bitcoin's price could potentially reach $100,000 by next year according to VanEck's Matthew Sigel. He attributes this prediction to sustained demand for the cryptocurrency due to fiscal pressures and falling volatility.
Sigel notes that institutional clients, including advisors and sovereign wealth funds, are buying Bitcoin as a strategic allocation, despite its reputation as a volatile asset. This indicates that large investors are treating it as a long-term hold rather than a speculative trade.
The head of digital assets research at VanEck also expects stablecoin growth to continue as U.S. lawmakers and the banking lobby dispute rules. The Genius Act's passage last year has been disputed by legislators, while the banking lobby is trying to revisit the agreement.
