Bitcoin Price May Stall at $90K as Traders Eye Profit-Taking

CryptoQuant analysts predict that Bitcoin's price may face a 'natural pause' at $90,000 due to profit-taking from traders.

The onchain analytics platform notes that the area around $90,000 coincides with the upper band of profit-taking for Bitcoin traders who last moved their coins onchain between one and three months ago.

CryptoQuant data shows that this 'upper band' sits at $90,300, or 40% above the realized price of $64,300.

The analysts state that historically, as the price approaches the upper band, trader profit margins stretch and selling can intensify, creating a natural pause point within an uptrend.
