Bitcoin Price Slips Below $83K as Saylor Hints at Another Potential Buy
Bitcoin's price slipped below $83,000 on Monday, after falling 2.65% in 24 hours to $82,839.96.
The drop came despite a significant increase in trading volume, which jumped more than 81%. The slide occurred in two steps during early UTC trading, with Bitcoin dipping below $84,000 and then under $83,000.
Market reports suggest that rising US Treasury yields and Iran-related tension may be contributing factors to the price drop. However, the exact cause remains unclear.
Michael Saylor, CEO of Strategy, hinted at another potential Bitcoin purchase with a cryptic tweet: 'Even more orange.'
