Bitdeer Expands Texas Mining Deal with Soluna

Soluna and Bitdeer are expanding their partnership at Project Kati 1 in South Texas, adding an extra 7 MW of mining capacity to their existing deal. This brings Bitdeer's total deployment at the site to 35 MW, with a hash rate of approximately 2.42 EH/s.

The additional capacity is expected to be deployed by November and fully books the K1BC phase of the project. Soluna provides the data-center site, power, and operating infrastructure, while Bitdeer supplies and owns the mining equipment.

This partnership model, known as co-mining, gives Soluna exposure to the Bitcoin produced by the machines rather than relying solely on fixed hosting revenue. For Bitdeer, it provides access to power and infrastructure without requiring it to build another site from scratch.
