Bitget has raised its estimated losses from a major hack to $388 million after reevaluating assets linked to Zcash and Tron. This revised figure is approximately $35 million higher than the initial estimate of $352 million released on Thursday.
The affected networks include Ethereum Virtual Machine chains, XRP Ledger, Zcash, and Tron. The listed assets include XRP, Ether (ETH), Tether's USDt, Zcash (ZEC), USD Coin (USDC), USDT0, Tether Gold (XAUt), BNB, Avalanche (AVAX), and TRON (TRX).
Bitget stated that its updated accounting reflects a more comprehensive review of transfers to wallets controlled by the attackers. Withdrawals remain suspended, and Bitget assures that the incident is under control with no further unauthorized transfers.
