BitMine Nears 5% ETH Target with $17.2 Billion Investment Portfolio

BitMine has continued its aggressive Ethereum accumulation strategy by purchasing 17,362 ETH over the past week. As of September 27, the company's total Ethereum holdings now stand at 6,001,302 ETH, representing approximately 4.9% of the 122.1 million ETH supply.

This latest purchase brings BitMine closer to its stated objective of owning 5% of all ETH, with the company now holding 98% of this target. According to information shared by Wu Blockchain, the majority of BitMine's reported ETH is currently allocated to staking rather than remaining unstaked, with 5,067,309 ETH staked, representing roughly 84% of its total holdings.

The scale of BitMine's Ethereum position extends beyond its stated target, with the company also holding a substantial investment portfolio valued at $17.2 billion. This includes combined holdings of cryptocurrency, cash, marketable securities, and other investments, highlighting the significant resources committed to achieving its Ethereum accumulation strategy.
