Bitwise CIO Names Top 4 Crypto Assets Driving Bull Market

Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan has reaffirmed his 'Mount Rushmore' of crypto assets, which he believes are driving the current bull market. The four core assets in this basket are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Chainlink.

Hougan sees these assets as essential exposure for investors playing out the two major macro themes in crypto: currency debasement and tokenization. He notes that it's hard to argue with these four assets not being part of an investor's portfolio.

However, Hougan is also bullish on several emerging challengers, including Hyperliquid, Zcash, and Venice. He believes that regulatory easing will force progressive improvement in token economics across DeFi, citing Chainlink as a prime example.
