Bringin Expands Crypto Business Accounts With SEPA Integration
Bringin has launched an invite-only beta for euro business accounts across 30 European countries. This service allows companies to hold, receive, and send Bitcoin and stablecoins, all while using SEPA payments through a virtual IBAN in their own name. The platform combines a euro account and a Bitcoin wallet, enabling businesses to add Bitcoin to treasury holdings, accept payments in Bitcoin, Lightning, or stablecoins, and pay suppliers or staff in Bitcoin. This integration reduces the need for separate banking and crypto payment tools.
The launch comes as payment firms expand similar services. For instance, Stripe plans to extend stablecoin card programs to over 100 countries by the end of the year, with monthly stablecoin card spending reaching about $1.2 billion. The adoption of stablecoin payments is gaining attention as firms build links between digital assets and traditional payment networks.
Bringin provides each company with a virtual IBAN for euro transfers through SEPA, ensuring that only designated owners can move funds, send payments, or set approval policies. The company uses a hardware security module to generate and store private keys, avoiding the use of shared exchange wallets. This service is being tested with 15 businesses, including Lightning payment providers, mining-rig sellers, and Bitcoin conferences.
Looking ahead, Bringin plans to introduce APIs and MCP servers that would support automated payments using Lightning and stablecoins under company-controlled permissions. The company previously demonstrated agent payments through the Lightning Network in 2025. Other developers, such as Block, are also testing machine-driven payments, adding Bitcoin Lightning payments to x402 for AI agents.
