Circle and Volante Technologies have partnered to embed USDC stablecoin payments into banking infrastructure. This partnership will allow banks to test how USDC activity can sit next to conventional payment rails, internal controls, and processes that move money on and off the blockchain.

The collaboration between Circle and Volante aims to help banks integrate USDC capabilities inside their existing systems, controls, and processes. Volante's customer base includes four of the five largest global corporate banks and seven of the ten largest US banks.

Nikhil Chandhok, Circle's chief product and technology officer, stated that financial firms need practical ways to see how digital dollars fit their current operations. The partnership will provide a contained way for these institutions to study this question.
