Circle CFO Jeremy Fox-Geen to Step Down After Five Years
Circle Internet Group, the New York-based issuer of the popular stablecoin USDC, announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jeremy Fox-Geen plans to step down after more than five years in the role. The decision comes as the company continues to navigate the fast-paced world of cryptocurrencies.
Fox-Geen joined Circle in May 2021 and played a vital role in the company's growth, including guiding it through a $1.2 billion initial public offering (IPO) last year. CEO Jeremy Allaire praised Fox-Geen for his 'strategic insight, financial leadership, and operating discipline' during periods of both market turmoil and significant growth.
Fox-Geen will continue as CFO until the end of 2026 to support a smooth transition, or sooner if a successor is appointed. Circle has partnered with an executive search firm to find his replacement.
