Share

Coinbase is expanding its operations in Singapore, planning to increase staff at its local office from 150 to about 200 by the end of 2026.

This move follows the company's recent report that it will step up local hiring as part of an expansion of its business in the city-state.

Coinbase plans to primarily hire engineers, customer service staff, relationship managers, and institutional sales personnel for its Singapore office.

Hassan Ahmed, head of Coinbase Singapore, said that Singapore has established itself as a strategic hub for crypto innovation.
