Coincheck's Trading Volumes Peak in Late 2025 as Verified Accounts Surge

Share

Coincheck Group N.V., the holding company for Coincheck, Inc. one of Japan's largest multi-cryptocurrency marketplaces and crypto asset exchanges, has published its year-end operating data through September 2026.

The disclosure covers exchange and marketplace trading volumes, customer assets, and verified accounts over the twelve months from October 2025 to September 2026.

The data show fluctuating trading volumes, with exchange volumes peaking in late 2025 and moderating in mid-2026. Customer asset balances also varied across the period.

However, one positive trend is evident: verified accounts steadily increased to about 2.87 million by September 2026.

Coincheck highlights that starting June 2026, a significant portion of new verified accounts stems from 'crypto-as-a-service' partnerships with third parties that share in fee revenue.
