Crypto Market Surges as Midnight, DOGE, and WLD Rally
The crypto market has been performing well lately, with the recent nonfarm payrolls (NFP) data contributing to its growth. The weak NFP data reduced the likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate hike, causing Bitcoin and most altcoins to rise in value. As a result, the total market capitalization of all tokens approached $3 trillion.
One of the top gainers this month is Midnight (NIGHT), launched by Cardano last year. Despite being a ghost chain with no major decentralized applications (dApps) on its network, NIGHT has surged 217% in value, reaching a market capitalization of over $821 million. The rally can be attributed to the ongoing demand for privacy tokens and technical analysis, which indicates that Midnight is forming a strong upward trend.
The Average Directional Index (ADX) for NIGHT has jumped to 45, indicating an accelerating upward trend. However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) has soared to 88, suggesting that the token has become highly overbought and may retreat as investors book profits. A possible target for a potential pullback is the $0.20 level.
Another notable performer is Dogecoin (DOGE), which has rebounded from its low of $0.067 in August to its current value of $0.1056. The strength of the crypto industry, where Bitcoin and most altcoins rallied, contributed to DOGE's recovery. Additionally, the formation of a bullish flag pattern on the chart suggests that Dogecoin is preparing for another upward move.
Worldcoin (WLD) has also seen significant growth, driven by the rebound in the crypto market and the increasing popularity of AI agents, particularly with the introduction of Meta Platforms' Muse product. Investors believe that World ID will become more popular among companies, contributing to WLD's growth. The cup-and-handle pattern on the daily chart suggests a continuation of the upward trend, with a possible target at $0.7124, 26% above its current value.
