The CryptoDaily Individual Awards 2026 recognize outstanding individuals in various categories of Web3. The selection process considered recent efforts, track record, and whether there was a clear case for each person's inclusion.

There were seven categories: Entrepreneurship, Engineering & Development, Product & Design, Marketing & Growth, Education & Public Speaking, Thought Leadership, and Trading & Market Intelligence. Each category had three honorees: CryptoDaily's Choice, Runner-up Pick, and Honorable Mention.

In the Entrepreneurship category, Michael Jerlis was chosen as CryptoDaily's Choice for his work at EMCD, a crypto mining and fintech platform he built from zero reputation into two global award-winning businesses. He has outlasted every halving and crypto winter since 2017 by solving business problems systematically.

Jure Granić-Skender was the Runner-up Pick in Engineering & Development for his work at MetaDAO, where he works on protocol development and market-based governance on Solana. His background spans SaaS, Web3 tooling, wallet infrastructure, and AMM design.
