Dubai Investor Snubs XRP Due to Market Capitalization Hurdle
Dubai investor Royal Kain has spoken out against investing in XRP at current price levels. He cites the asset's market capitalization as a major hurdle, saying that it has already grown to $81.9 billion and limits further upside compared to smaller cryptocurrencies.
Kain focused on the size of XRP rather than its price action, stating 'There is no product and no revenue' and preferring smaller projects with growth potential. He noted that XRP's market capitalization at 62.9 billion tokens in circulation makes it one of the top five cryptocurrencies by market value.
XRP has shown sharp volatility over the past month, rising about 72% to $1.70 in August before giving up most of those gains and trading around $1.38 at the end of the month. However, Kain pointed out that XRP is still 64.5% below its peak of $3.66 in 2025.
Analyst Kashi also provided a conservative view on technical indicators, stating that XRP fell below the 0.5 Fibonacci level and would need to regain the 0.618 Fibonacci level near $1.65 to recover upside momentum. The market is now focusing on downside support, with key levels at $1.10 and potentially $0.87 if losses deepen.
