Ethereum Faces Crucial Q4 Test as ETH/BTC Ratio Hovers Near Key Level
Ethereum is on track to finish Q3 with more than a 70% return, outperforming Bitcoin's 43% gain. This performance gap could have significant implications for the ETH/BTC ratio in Q4.
The ETH/BTC ratio is currently trading around 0.03, a resistance level that Ethereum has failed to reclaim since the October crash. A sustained move above this level would signal that Q3's relative strength is carrying into Q4.
BitMine added approximately 17,000 Ethereum while Strategy bought 1,665 BTC and Strive purchased $94.5 million of Bitcoin. Institutional flows remain tilted toward Bitcoin, with SoSoValue showing more than $6 billion of Q3 net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs.
