Ethereum Rides Regulatory Uncertainty Amidst Price Surge
The Ethereum price has seen an uptick in trading, reaching $2,480.61 and up 1.8% on the day. This increase puts it above its key moving averages and near the upper end of its recent trading range.
This comes amidst regulatory uncertainty surrounding Ethereum's staking, DeFi, and stablecoin activities, as the U.S. Senate did not advance the CLARITY Act. The Federal Reserve also increased rates by 25 basis points to a 3.75% to 4% target range, potentially tightening liquidity for risk assets.
Despite this uncertainty, traders remain resilient, and indicator signals are mixed. ETH has cleared its MA-20 ($2,439) and MA-50 ($2,474), but the MACD shows a Strong Sell signal, while the ADX is Neutral.
